Ian has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years and has extensive front-office and FIX protocol product sales and implementation experience.
He helped to design, develop, and project manage front-office order management systems at JP Morgan Investment Management before working for vendors including NYFIX, NYSE Technologies and Ullink in specialist FIX Engine and Market Access Gateway roles. Ian has engaged with many market leading buy-side and sell-side clients providing consultancy, development, support and project management services for their FIX engine implementation and migration projects.
Ian has also designed and implemented FIX training programmes, and has trained over 500 industry practitioners in the use and application of the FIX protocol.
